Left to Rust

Once, a Violin was played
Once, a Sketch was made
Once, an Article was composed
Once, the Mind used to repose
Yet Now,
The Strings are lifeless
The Pencil is untouched
The Papers are wordless
Wonder Why?
Maybe it’s the Mind which doesn’t want to replay
Maybe the Spirit is down like never before
Maybe the Mind stopped to explore
Maybe the Tiger has stopped its roar

Denial

They ordered me to prove the Triangle
Yet all I could do was to write an Article.
They ordered me to measure the Velocity
Yet cruel eyes killed my dream and curiosity.
They tried to put me down
Yet all I did was to stand on my own.
They imprisoned me in a cage
Just because I wasn’t a page.
They wanted someone manageable
Instead they found a Rebel

Manufactured

Born as a human forced to be a machine
Made to explore pressured to be a routine.
Immortal made us curious to learn a lesson every day
They killed the curiosity and called it decay.
They wanted logic in numbers
Yet all I had was the heart of a free bird.
They killed dreams with their words
Yet we felt like a dead bird.
They called it progress
Yet we felt oppressed
